The summit aims to review the evidence on the impact of common vaccine-preventable diseases (VPDs) on the development and progression of musculoskeletal diseases (MSKDs), and to explore the role played by sarcopenia, frailty and background inflammation, typical of MSKDs, in the response to immunization of older adults.
